Face Fit Testing & Spirometry Test

In accordance with Australian Government Standard and Worksafe guidelines for respiratory protective equipment, fit-testing assessment should be repeated on a regular basis.

ANZ Enviro is here for all fit-testing needs to ensure proper fit and use of respirators. Upon completion of fit-testing a report is generated containing:

Date of Test

Next test due
Mask tested on
Overall fit factor

Spirometry Test (Lung Function Test)

This spirometry test provides diagnostic and prognostic information to help individuals personally manage overall wellness especially with regards to respiratory health. Results vary from person to person but are based on the amount and speed of air one breathes whilst testing general lung function. Spirometry Testing is performed on adults over the age of 18 utilising a small medical device which gauges airflow over time & can also help individuals manage a number of respirator conditions.

To prepare for your upcoming test:

Please do not smoke one hour before
Avoid alcohol the day of your test
Avoid strenuous exercise
Avoid eating a large meal which may impact your ability to breath easily

Additional Important Information: This test is not performed by physicians and therefore, cannot be used to diagnose a number of lung conditions nor assist with treatment options. This test also requires some physical exertion it is not recommended for those with heart conditions or other heart problems.
