Mould Testing and Removal FAQ

What is mould?

Mould is an indoor and outdoor fungi which reproduces via tiny particles called spores which are carried in air. Mould continues to grow in spaces with inadequate light and a moisture source causing peeling, cracking, and warping on materials which can often cause the surface to look dull and dirty. Mould can also grow behind or inside walls.

Mould can make you unwell causing symptoms of running and stuffy nose, water eyes, sneezing and dry skin. Those at greatest risk from contact with mould include people with respiratory issues (such as COPD, asthma, or other breathing conditions), those with weakened immune systems and people with hypersensitivities.
